Installation Guide
- Mounting: Securely mount the energiser vertically on a wall or sturdy post, out of reach of animals and children, using the provided mounting holes.
- Earth Connection: Drive a galvanised earth rod (minimum 1m) deep into damp soil. Connect the green terminal on the energiser to the earth rod using high-voltage insulated cable.
- Fence Connection: Connect the red terminal to your electric fence wire or tape using a suitable insulated lead-out cable.
- Power Supply: For mains use, plug the included AC adapter into a 230V indoor socket. For remote use, connect the crocodile clips to a fully charged 12V deep-cycle leisure battery.
- Testing: Turn the unit on. The LED indicator will flash with each pulse. Use a fence tester on the wire to ensure voltage is above 3000V for horses or 4000V for cattle/sheep.

Excellent 12v electric fence unit. We use it off-grid on a 12V leisure battery for our highland ponies. The pulse is strong and the LED indicator is very handy for checking it from a distance.
Bought this mains electric fence energiser online after our old Rutland packed up. It arrived next day as promised. Very easy to mount in the barn and hook up to the main paddock. Highly recommended.
A very capable farm fence controller. Plenty of power for the sheep netting. My only slight gripe is that it doesn't come with an earth rod in the box, so I had to order one separately.
